Amy Ryan

Hi! My name is Amy, and I have a gambling problem…Oh wait, wrong website…LOL Ok, I only have a gambling problem when I go to casinos alone!

Seriously though, thanks for stopping by to read all about me! These days, Amy Ryan is A LOT happier….and for those of you who have seen me in public recently, you’ll know I’m A LOT thinner too! And wait for the jaw to drop….down over 200 lbs! …500 lbs if you count the ex!! Why is it, that divorce can change you just like that? Anyways, I’m rolling with it, and taking it for what it’s worth! It’s been a great 2 years!

I’ve been on the radio since 1993! I’ve worked in OH, VT, IN, RI, ME, and NH! Wow, that’s a long time to be doing one thing I guess. When I’m not losing all my money at the casinos, I enjoy getting out, meeting new people, working out, trying different foods, taking spontaneous road trips, doing karaoke, and hanging with friends! Ok, NOW this sounds like a personal ad, so I’ll stop here!

I really appreciate good country music and the people who listen to it! That’s why you’ll find me on the radio dial between 10-3pm every weekday playing the best country music The Wolf has to offer!

Lia

I’m Lia. The host. The Facilitator. The sticky substance that holds the stories together with the songs. I’m the gal who can’t for the life of me keep a secret yet everyone seems to tell me their secrets anyway. I love my job. I’m happily married to the luckiest guy on earth, Chad. I have 4 kids. All of them smart, spoiled and love country music. In my spare time I play word games, mind games and lock myself in the bathroom for 5 minutes of peace at least once a day. Here’s a secret about me: I never talk on the phone when I’m not at work. That could be because I do it every night for hours. My sisters complain constantly about me never calling them back. Even my husband occasionally goes to voice mail. We have 2 dogs and spend as much spare time as we can on our boat. Even holidays like Christmas and New Years we’re on that boat.

I was born and raised in Kentucky. My mom, a Southern Belle housewife, and my dad, a farmer, bar owner, janitor, banjo picker, had finally had enough kids. I was the last of four and, believe me, I think I was the reason they didn't want anymore! I grew up a small town in Kentucky, with not much to do there but plug my ears while my dad tried to pick his banjo and run through the sprinklers on a hot summer's day. I was definitely a Daddy’s Girl. Even though I hated that banjo, I loved my dad. The hardest thing I ever went through in my life was the death of my dad. I was only fifteen--too much for a young girl to take! When I was a kid Country Music was always around. In the car, in the house, at my dad’s bar. I have to admit most of my teenage years were spent listening to Rock Music. I was a HUGE fan of Pink Floyd. We’d have music wars in our home with my dad cranking up “He Stopped Loving Her Today” to dry to drown out my “Comfortably Numb.”

I left Kentucky, my family, my friends and my life behind after my dad passed and moved hundreds of miles cross-country to be with my oldest sister, Connie (my role model, best friend and confidante), and her husband. I finished school and moved out on my own at 17. I went off to college with absolutely no idea what I was going to do with my life. Purely by accident, I got into Country radio. Believe me when I say that I am sure my dad teamed up with God to make that happen.

As far as this show goes, I just want you to know that we all work very hard each night to put this thing together. I'm so lucky to have such a great team of people to work with.

Andy Mack

Host of The Wolf's classic country show, "Country Legends Sunday" and our feature "The Wolf Outdoors", Andy Mack Jr is a New Hampshire native, growing up on the family apple farm in Londonderry. Member of the Granite State Ambassadors and regular contributor to local publications, Andy has a passion for New Hampshire’s unique places, outdoors spaces, angling, culture and the arts. He will tell you he has a good stretch of geek... he's also a broadcast systems engineer. Andy prefers to be outside, on the water, whenever he's not playing radio. He has managed both at the same time, on occasion, and has yet to drop a mic in the lake. Phones are another story altogether...

Ramblin' Ray Stevens

Ramblin’ Ray Stevens was destined to be in “Raydio” … just ask his mom Pat, who bought him his first Mr. Microphone at age eight. Ray was always imitating Larrry Lujack from WLS who he listened to as a kid. When riding in the car with his dad back then, Ray wasn’t singing along with the songs on the radio … he was pretending to be introducing them! Apparently that was fun for Ray, and not so much fun for the rest of the family on road trips.

Ray’s radio career started out in 1987 when a local Program Director needed a nice car for a local parade. In typical Chicago fashion, Ray made a deal … he told that programmer, “You can use my car (a 1987 Mustang Convertible) if I can have a weekend air shift.” The deal was done and Ray has been on the air ever since.

For the past 21 years Ramblin’ Ray has been part of the morning show at WUSN Chicago, known locally as US 99.5, CBS Radio’s Country outlet in that market. There have been many changes over those two decades plus, but Ray says that the last 5 years with his “radio wife,” Lisa Dent, have been the best.

Ray has won or been nominated for just about every major award in the radio business including several Country Music Association (CMA) and Academy of Country Music (ACM) broadcast awards. For Ray, winning the CMA major market personality of the year in 2010 was a career highlight, and Lisa and Ray’s morning show has won the Country Radio Broadcasters’ Major Market talent award for the third year in a row! Lisa and Ray were also nominated for the coveted Marconi award. In April of 2015, Ray won the ACM Award along with Lisa, his morning show co-host for On Air Personality at WUSN.

“The awards are cool to win, but my favorite award was from the Marines,” Ray asserted. Ramblin’ Ray won the ‘Semper Fi’ award for his work on behalf of our troops both at home and abroad, and it is the highest Marine honor to be bestowed upon a civilian.

Outside of radio, Ray hangs mostly with his kids, Cheyenne, Conner and Cassie. He is an avid outdoorsman, an accomplished Road and Mountain biker and a water skier. But Ray’s favorite activity is Snowmobile Racing (in the winter, obviously). Ray is currently the 2013 Eagle River Wisconsin world champion in the 250 class.

And regarding acting as host for Serving Your Country, Ray points that it’s the kind of radio he loves because it makes a difference in people’s lives. “I’m very proud of Serving Your Country … it’s our way of saying thanks to those that give. Without the dedication and service of our men and women in uniform, we’d be lost. If you can take a little time each week to do something to thank the folks who provide our freedom, that’s huge. And even though they’ll say ‘it’s just their job,’ trust me they LOVE the gesture!”
